MB 18 S

The Müller Machinery MB 18 S is the long-reach version of our 1.8-tonne machine, and the one to choose when the limit on your work is how far you can reach rather than how hard you can dig. At 4,023 mm digging radius and 3,714 mm digging height it works a noticeably larger circle than the MB 18 A, and loads over a fence or into a high-sided trailer without a ramp of spoil. Digging depth is 2,197 mm and breakout force 15 kN, so foundations, drainage and root removal are all comfortably within range. Where the MB 18 S separates itself is comfort over a long day. A fully closed cabin is available rather than a canopy alone, which turns a machine you use in good weather into one you use in February. If most of your work is short summer jobs, the MB 18 A saves you money; if you are out in it year round, the cabin pays for itself in hours you actually want to work. The 1,200 mm width and 1,300 mm turning radius keep it usable in residential gardens and between buildings, and the side-swing boom is standard for digging tight to a wall.
